  • Fractal Dimension Estimator
FD Estimator is a software tool to measure the fractal dimension (FD) of a 2D image.
FD is estimated by means of the box-counting method.

  • Brightness Progressive Normalization
The BPN software is a tool which allows the automatic normalization of the brightness in heterogeneous images. The BPN transformation is applied on the pixels of the whole image: it calculates and maximizes the local brightness of each zone of the image and applies a progressive normalization of the intensity during the scanning of each pixel. It is very useful to normalize stacks of images (radiological images, for example), in order to apply always the same threshold for the whole series.

  • GLUC_COMPLEX (R script) by Manuel Varela and Julio Suarez Llanos
GLUC_COMPLEX is a free software designed to analyse the variability and complexity of the glycemic profile. GLUC_COMPLEX is written in R , a free software environment commonly used in bioscience. If you have not yet installed R, you can download it from http://cran.r-project.org.
